We had a great Easter break in Duck. The weather ranged from low 60s to high 70s. We had a few good beach days. On our way home, the temperature started at about 70 in the morning, then we drove through rain, sun, sleet, snow and ended up back in Canton with the temperature in the 30s.

The kids played in the water a lot. In the last few years, Anna has stayed more on the sand. Not this year. She loved jumping in the waves with Lukey. |
|
The sand was still fun to play in though. |

There was a lot of erosion on our part of the beach. They probably weren't supposed to do this, but the kids really liked playing on the cliffs. They slid and jumped down them then laid in the water to clean off the sand. |

Lukey was looking forward to having watermelon in North Carolina weeks before our trip. He was thrilled to finally have his watermelon. |

Tim was pretty good about playing in the water with the kids. Too cold for mommy. Tim got a new cosi that said "Sworn to Fun, Loyal to None". |

The kids were able to convince Nana to go in the water with them too. She brought Zena in too. Zena was okay with it but didn't really want to go in the water much. |
