OBX

We spent the last week in the Outer Banks at Aunt Roselyn's house with Nana and Pa Bob and Auntie Carrie and Kent and Maeve.  Thanks for a great vacation, Aunt Roselyn!!  We had a great time.  The kids had a lot of fun playing together at the beach.  We had great weather for almost the entire time.  Only one day was a little cooler.  Other than that it was between 80 and 90 all week and mostly sunny.

Anna took a liking to the beach right away.  She was fearless of the sand and water.  She reminded me a little of Lukey last year when she got to the water because she wanted to go right in.  He was a little calmer than last year and seemed to understand that it was a good idea to play by the water but not try to go in by himself.

Lukey had fun playing in the sand.

As usual, Lukey loved playing with Kent.  Anna also discovered that Kent is one of her favorite people.  She called him Ka and smiled everytime she saw him.  He liked making her laugh and repeat words that he said.

Kent kept crashing every picture that I tried to take of Lukey so I took one of him to make him happy.  I think he looks pretty cool.  Sorry Maeve, I didn't get any good pictures of you the whole trip.  I'm sure your mommy has a lot though.

Cousins walking together on the boardwalk in town.  The kids had a great time when we went for a walk into town for ice cream.

The sea brings out the best in Anna's hair.

This cloudy day was the one good day for lighting for pictures.  However, it was too cold to take a lot.

This evening was a little windy and Anna could barely walk on the sand without blowing away.

Anna kept rolling around in the sand and laughing.

Kent feeding Anna popcorn.

This photo shoot on the beach was not as successful as I hoped for because it was really sunny and Anna wasn't really in the mood.

We thought Lukey would like the crabs but he thought they were a little scary.  Especially this one. He was big and fast.  We went out later at night to look for crabs with flashlights one night.

Lukey liked running along the "train track".

We stopped at Washington D.C. for a little bit on the way back so the kids could run around.

Happy Father's Day to Da!
