Last day of Gymnastics

Lukey just completed his last gymnastics class after 2 sessions.  He really improved since his first day.  He somewhat learned about taking turns and playing with other kids and all kinds of other gymnastics tricks like jumping on the trampoline, walking on balance beams, stretches somersaults, etc.  I'll admit though, it was a workout being there with him.  His behavior seemed to get better for awhile, then worse again towards the end.  He always wanted to do his own thing and run towards the block pit or trampoline whenever he got a chance.  He had a lot of fun though.  What I didn't get a picture of was him playing duck duck goose.  This was probably the best part.  He ran and chased every time a goose was picked. He didn't just chase the kid either, but ran as far as he could around the gym.  It was pretty funny.

Leah was in both classes with Lukey.  This is them playing in the waiting room.  Lukey took his orange with him to the last class.

stretching

This is typical Lukey during stretches.  Protesting and yelling "No!"  The teacher seemed to like him though and think he was kind of funny.

Lukey being a penguin.

On the last day of both classes the kids got to go in a bounce house.  Both times Lukey said he was too scared to go inside.  So, he played basketball instead.

Waiting in line for the trampoline.

Jumping on the trampoline.  Lukey was a very good jumper!

Lukey's favorite part was always the last 5 minutes where they got to go in the block pit.  I also on a regular basis would have to chase him before he could jump into it during class or have to go into the pit myself to retrieve him.  It was pretty hard walking through those blocks.  If he ever saw the opportunity, he was in there.

Lukey got a ribbon for being so good.  They also got stamps after every class.  He started to like the stamps on his knees.  I don't know how he got the stamp away from the teacher but on the last day he put stamps all over himself.
