Anna and the Sea

Last week we took Anna to St. Pete's Beach, Florida while Da had his teacher training for his new honors biology class.  Anna had a great time having 100% attention from us for a few days.  She also seemed to really like the beach and shopping during the day.  She was really good on the plane too.  She was even good when our flight got cancelled and we spent 12 hours in the airport/airplanes when coming back to Detroit.  She was a wonderful traveller.

We had weather mostly in the mid to upper 70s.  It got a little cooler at night but not too much.  

Anna was really excited about the sand and the sunset.

Out for a morning stroll on the beach.   We did a lot of walking.  She liked to talk a lot in her stroller and was always so happy to be on vacation.  

Anna in the hotel room.  This dress is still a little big so the straps never stayed on.  I couldn't resist putting her in sundresses while we had the opportunity.

She loved playing in the sand.

...but then started to try to eat it so we had to take her away from it.

Mommy, Da and Anna.  Not a complete family photo though because Lukey stayed in Michigan with Nana and Pa Bob then with Grammy and Grandpa on Saturday while we had a long traveling day.  We really really missed him but I know he had fun getting lots of attention at home.
