Gingerbread houses

A few weeks ago we made gingerbread houses.  Mommy and Da baked the structures and put them together and the kids decorated them all on their own.  They looked great!

More piano!

A tribute to Leonard Cohen

The night after Leonard Cohen passed, Anna and I belted out Hallelujah like never before when I put her to bed.  I'll never forget that.
Da plays this song on the piano and it is one of Anna's favorites.  Here is her singing it.

Eensy Weency Spider

Anna and Luke have been taking piano class this fall.  Here is Anna playing Eency Weency Spider.  I will post more songs later and hopefully get a video of Lukey playing too.  We have a video of her singing this song when she was 1, so that is below also.  She's grown so much!

The peek a boo part when she takes off her glasses is still my favorite.

Halloween

We didn't have our usual sheep pumpkin this year.  Because of Luke's Kung Fu Panda party, the white pumpkins were pandas.  We each made a panda.  From left to right-Anna (was more of a cat and the marker washed off) Da, Lukey, Mommy.

The kids helped to gut the pumpkins before we carved them into Jack-o-Lanterns the day before Halloween.

They turned out great!  For the above picture from left to right-Da, Anna, Lukey, Mommy.

Halloween morning.  Anna, Lukey and Snowy all wore skeleton pajamas.  We had a very good morning.  Luke's party, then home for lunch and a nap, meatballs for dinner and trick or treating. This was the most successful trick or treating yet.  Our neighborhood was the busiest ever and the kids went to a lot of houses.  Da and I had fun trick or treating with them while drinking "cider".

Anna and I volunteered in Lukey's classroom for his "Monster Mash" on Halloween.  It was a great party!

The Halloween parade.

Luke's teacher dressed up like Hello Kitty just like Anna and I did!

Pumpkin-Palooza in Plymouth

Before we went to Pumpkin Palooza (trick or treating in downtown Plymouth), the kids dressed up Snowy, Fluff and Sia.  Fluff's hat was really her bloomers. Sia wore a bonnet.

No one told the kids to pose in front of this basketball.  They all just stood there for a long time until we took a picture of them.

Anna and Juliet walked around holding hands.

There was a dance party in the middle of town. Luke had some good moves!

The kids giving a thumbs down to Trump.

Fall/Halloween Parties

Last Saturday, we went to Lukey and Anna's friend, Charlie's birthday party.  It was Halloween party so the kids dressed up.  Tim and I didn't dress up, but should have because most of the adults dressed up.  We still had fun though.

Later that night, Tim and I went to an adult Halloween party. We were Robin Hood (I had a hat with a feather that you can't really see in the picture) and King Richard? Prince John?

The kids hanging out with Oliver and Snowy.

It was a really nice day a few days ago, so we went to get our pumpkins.

Anna wanted to kiss all of the pumpkins.
