Oak Street Beach

Lukey almost missed his first trip to the beach because the walk and the calming sound of the waves made him fall asleep.  Once he woke up he loved it!

After a hot day at the zoo, Lukey went for a swim at the Downtown Marriott pool and relaxed in his hotel room.

Lucas decided that his Mama and Daddy should celebrate their 3rd anniversary in Chicago.  This was the first time that he left the state of Michigan.

Lukey rested for a little while at Uncle Jamie and Aunt Beth's apartment before we all went to the Lincoln Park Zoo.  Lukey slept nearly the entire time so there aren't many pictures of him with animals.

Happy 30th Daddy!!!

Wow!  Look at all that birthday cake for Tim!  Almost 2 full sheet cakes and more!

Uncle Jamie and Aunt Beth's Wedding

Yesterday Uncle Jamie married Aunt Beth.  Now Lukey officially has a new aunt.  The wedding was beautiful.  Lukey didn't mind the wedding too much and actually fell asleep for awhile.  He didn't really like the reception though...so there are no pictures of that. 

Lukey fell asleep on Nana's lap.  He woke up and started crying right when Aunt Beth was walking down the aisle.  Not the best timing, but I don't think anyone noticed too much. 

Jungle Java

Lukey had a lot of fun at Jungle Java with Auntie Carrie, Uncle Pat, Kent, Maeve and Mama.  He got really excited when we first got there and did a lot of happy yelling and enjoyed seeing all the other kids. 

 

Back at our house playing with Cousin Kent.  Kent is not very happy that Lukey has his old barn toy.  He wants it back, but Lukey wants to keep it.

First Art Fair!!!

We went to the Plymouth Art in the Park today.  Lukey had fun as long as he was being held the whole time.  His favorite part was the fountain.
