Ballet recital

Anna nailed her recital this year.  She was in the front center most of the time because she was so good.  She really improved over the year.

Anna with Camila, who will be in ballet again with her this year.  One of her best friends.

On the way home we saw the best rainbow I have ever seen. It was there the whole way home.

End of school year activities

Luke with his robotics team, the "Rocket Cats".  Luke helped come up with this name.

At the end of the season for robotics they had a big event that they learned things from the high school robotics crew and presented their work to judges.  Luke took the lead in answering the questions from the judges.  We were proud of his confidence and leadership.

This year Anna and Luke had their end of the year musicals on the same night.  Anna was a tomato.  Luke was a green alien.  Neither wanted to have a solo role.  At all.  Anna was okay the concert and seemed a little excited.  Luke is really not into these concerts.

He did not want to be there.

Easter, Teddy and a recital

Teddy is one!  He is a pretty great baby.  He's always in a good mood.

Luke takes really good care of him.

Anna had another piano concert.  She did great! She didn't want a lot of pictures though.

Geer school

Luke spent 2 days going to a one room schoolhouse in Plymouth called Geer School. I got to chaperone.  It was a lot of fun!

He looked really handsome.

I asked Luke after the first day if everyone in the class dressed up.  He said yes and that one kid even dressed up like a pirate.  Can you guess which one it was?  I had to try not to laugh all the next day when I saw what he was talking about.

In old time photos, people looked serious.  This was sometimes hard for Luke.

I love the expression on the kids face on the right.

Hilton Head

On spring break we went to Hilton Head.  It was fabulous.  On our first morning there was a very lovely sunrise.  This is Tim on our balcony in front of the sea.
For 2 of the days it was dang cold.  About 20 degrees below normal.  We spent one of those days visiting the Morgans in Savannah. We also went to Tybee for a drink.  These pictures were in Savannah.
This is a famous house.  There are a lot more famous houses but this one is the topic of a book I'm reading so it was of particular interest to me.
Back in Hilton Head.
There were a lot of dead jellyfish on the beach.  The kids named one Bob and gave him a proper burial.
