Geer school

Luke spent 2 days going to a one room schoolhouse in Plymouth called Geer School. I got to chaperone.  It was a lot of fun!

He looked really handsome.

I asked Luke after the first day if everyone in the class dressed up.  He said yes and that one kid even dressed up like a pirate.  Can you guess which one it was?  I had to try not to laugh all the next day when I saw what he was talking about.

In old time photos, people looked serious.  This was sometimes hard for Luke.

I love the expression on the kids face on the right.

Hilton Head

On spring break we went to Hilton Head.  It was fabulous.  On our first morning there was a very lovely sunrise.  This is Tim on our balcony in front of the sea.
For 2 of the days it was dang cold.  About 20 degrees below normal.  We spent one of those days visiting the Morgans in Savannah. We also went to Tybee for a drink.  These pictures were in Savannah.
This is a famous house.  There are a lot more famous houses but this one is the topic of a book I'm reading so it was of particular interest to me.
Back in Hilton Head.
There were a lot of dead jellyfish on the beach.  The kids named one Bob and gave him a proper burial.

Happy Birthday, Anna!

This is a little late, but Anna turned 7 this month!  She had some family over for her birthday proper, then a few friends over on the next day to celebrate with her.
Anna shares a birthday with Dr. Seuss, so we had green eggs and hash browns to celebrate. Except Anna.  She ate something else.

Holidays 2019

Thanksgiving morning at Grammy and Gramps' house.  Brooke sent us a message the day before requesting that we wear pajamas.  As luck would have it, we were all wearing coordinating pajamas that their family had!  Tim and I didn't wear ours in the morning, but Luke and Anna kept theirs on.

Christmas with the Z family.

Luke and Anna's Savannah cousins came over Christmas Eve.
Look who showed up! Santa himself!

Anna was skeptical that it wasn't the real Santa but instead Pa Bob..

Sloane was very scared of Santa.  The rest of the kids thought he was funny.
