Art and Apples

We celebrated Nana's birthday with our annual trip the Rochester Arts and Apples art fair.  Lukey had fun playing at the park there.  He also liked wearing his new Thomas shirt.

I tried to set Anna up for a photo shoot but it didn't really work out because all she wanted to do is roll the blanket up and play in the grass and dirt.  

New Camera

Lukey and Anna got us a new camera for our Christmas present this year.  I'm still learning how to use it.

Anna's 1/2 Birthday

We celebrated Anna's 1/2 birthday by going to the Northville cider mill with Aunt Beth and Uncle Jamie.  Lukey liked the wooden train and Anna was an apple.

Anna has made a lot of progress in the last 6 months.  She can now eat oatmeal, roll around, sit, suck on her toes, rock on her hands and knees, slither across the floor and laugh and smile.  Her vocabulary has also advanced.  She sometimes yells a happy "ya ya ya ya!"  very loud and sounds a little like a cat.  She also sleeps through the night most of the time and will take naps in her crib.  She is quite a wonderful baby.  She lets me take her shopping and for walks and is pretty pleasant the majority of the time. 

Holland

Auntie Carrie, Uncle Pat, Kent and Maeve moved to Holland.  Last weekend we went to visit them.  Holland is pretty cool.  They live close enough to walk into downtown and just a short drive away from the beach.  We spent the day at the beach then walked into town for dinner.  It was pretty fun.  We're happy that their family is now back in Michigan.
