| In May we did our annual trip to the botanical gardens. Lukey had a cast on because he broke his pinky. Because of that and maybe the weather? we didn't do the long walk as usual but we saw the flowers and the greenhouse and the kids garden. |

| A lot of people signed Luke's cast. He was proud. |

| Anna had a really loose tooth and Lukey was VERY persistent about trying to pull it out for her. She stood by her ground and said no. He offered her anything. He said he'd give her candy, let her pick what movies we watched all weekend, would give her $13 to buy a big beany boo, etc. etc. etc. She didn't care-he was not going to touch her tooth. |

| The negotiations continue-he'd tell her "don't worry, it will only take a second. I won't hurt you. Just shut your eyes and you won't even know it happened. Just let me do this." She said no. |
