First piano concert

Anna did a great job at her first piano concert.  She played Jingle Bells and Jolly Old St. Nicholas.

She looked so professional!

Anna started taking piano class with Miss Emily last fall in a group class then again starting last February for private lessons.  Anna really liked Miss Emily.  She'll be leaving for grad school and Anna will be starting with a new teacher after New Years.  She's sad about it but hopefully things will work out and she'll continue doing well with piano class.

Robotics

Lukey was on the robotics team at Dodson this year.  They met once a week throughout the fall then had a day where they went to Canton High School and showcased their creation.  They made a lego water park.  It was pretty cool.  I didn't take pictures of the water park though.  The rest of the day all the different teams rotated around and got to try out the robots the high school team made and do different activities.  It was a cool event.

His hair looked especially great that day.  It went along with the whole robotics idea though somehow.

The high school team was world champions this year so they had some pretty cool robots!

Anna did not have fun.  She was very pleasant at the beginning then started talking about how robotics was the worst thing in the world and she hated it more than anything.  After we got home we took her temperature and apparently throughout the day she had developed a fever of 103.  She rested the rest of the day and was fine the next day.

Luke had fun when it was his team's turn to get his participation medal and give high fives to all the high school helpers.

Thanksgiving

Since Christmas is tomorrow, its probably due time to post pictures of Thanksgiving.  This year, we did our usual breakfast and Grammy and Gramp's then dinner at Nana and Pa's.  Tim and I also did the turkey trot in the morning.  It was pretty fun and we'd like to do it again since its right by our house.

Lukey spent a good amount of his morning playing Wii.

Anna enjoyed making thanksgiving crafts.

Halloween pictures

Anna was a peacock for Halloween.  Lukey was a cowboy and Darth Vader.  Can you tell the Anna put her lipstick on herself?

Trick or Treating at the Plymouth Pumpkin-Palooza with Leah and Juliet.  This is the annual thumbs down to Trump picture. Lukey was trying to give him bunny ears.

Luke was either wearing his sunglasses or Darth Vader mask when we left and we forgot to bring his glasses.  He was a little confused walking around and Leah helped guide him around so he wouldn't get lost.

We dressed up again for Maeve's birthday party.

The kids had really fun Halloween parties at school.

Lukey carved his own pumpkin this year!

Lukey turns 7! (and some cat pictures)

Anna and Lukey sometimes request that we take pictures of the cats.  They're right.  We need to take more pictures of these guys.  They're pretty nice.

He is cat perfection!

Stunning.

The weekend before his birthday, Luke invited family over to eat cake with him to celebrate.  He designed his cake himself.  It had cookie dough, sprinkles and gummy bears.  It was actually really good other than the gummy bear part.  On his actual birthday we celebrated with just the 4 of us going out to dinner at Luke's choice of Buffalo Wild Wings.

The next day, Luke had a party with friends at a bowling alley.  This was the first friends party he had.  He had a lot of fun.  There were 17 kids there so it was a little exhausting but it was worth it for Lukey because he's so special.

Haha.  I'm noticing now that I'm looking at this picture that Luke's friend, Charlie is handing him a bag with most likely the present he got for him. I think we used that same bag to give Charlie a gift the next week.  Oops.  Oh well.  It was a nice bag.

We tried to politely get Jakob to not crash this family photo but ended up letting him in.  Afterwards, we distracted him then took another photo sans Jakob.
