Baby Sloane!

Lukey and Anna got another baby cousin last week.  That's 3 new cousins this year.  Sloane was born on her due date of 7-11.  We went to 7-11 to celebrate. This week we went to go visit her.  She was a very relaxed baby.  She also seems to be hungry at all times.

Lukey really wanted me to make all of these pictures "gray".  I think it was actually a good idea for some of them because we were not in very good lighting for pictures.

Much to Maeve's chagrin, the girls wore matching dresses yesterday.  They looked nice.

Anna really likes playing with all the kitties when we go to Holland.

Learning to ride a bike

Lukey is too big for his Lightning McQueen bike now, so we got him a new one this spring.  When he rides his bike he really likes Anna to ride his old one.  He was more than happy to help her learn how to ride it.  She's been doing pretty good.  She saw a Hello Kitty bike on a walk one time and liked it a lot.  We told her once she learns how to ride, we'll get it for her.

Anna has also gotten really good at riding her big wheel!

Lukey had his last day of Safety Town last Thursday.  He did a great job.  We knew a lot of the kids there and he met some other nice kids.  He also learned how to be safe.  It was a good program for him.

Princess Camp and Safety Town

Last week Anna went to Princess Camp and Lukey started Safety Town.  Lukey goes to Safety Town this week too.

We went to the splash park with Leah and Juliet after their first day of class.  Leah and Juliet were in princess camp too.  Anna liked them being there.  She was a little nervous about being away from home for the first time but did really well.  She made a lot of really cool art projects.  Each day had a different theme.  Monday-Sleeping Beauty, Tuesday-Princess and the Frog, Wednesday-Mulan, Thursday-Frozen and Friday-Tea Party.  Anna wore a princess dress each day to class.

Lukey wanted me to take this picture.

Anna with a mask she made from Princess and the Frog day (or Princess Tiana day).  She also made the frog in the picture below.

Anna made these things on Mulan day-a fan, a dragon and the red thing in the corner is a drum.

Anna looked forward to wearing her Elsa dress all week. She liked wearing it so much on Thursday that she decided to wear it again on Friday.

On Friday, parents were allowed to come in a little early to see the tea party and graduation ceremony.

Anna really liked her cupcake.

She had a lot of fun.  During the week, she was asking when she could go back to gymnastics.  Maybe because that was a much smaller class where she felt more comfortable.  But, overall she had a really fun time and now is asking when she can go back to Princess Camp!

Each girl got to walk up and get a wand as a graduation from Princes Camp.

These are the crafts that Anna made throughout the week.  Her favorite part of camp was making art.  This is good because hopefully it means she will be enthusiastic to make art projects when she starts school in the fall.

4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July at Uncle Ben's house.  We looked very patriotic.

I wanted to take a picture of us looking so patriotic before one of the kids got dirty and had to change or something.  Sure enough, a few minutes later Lukey spilled nacho cheese all over himself and had to change.

Pa Bob and Nana came to the party without USA colors.  So, Ben found this wonderful shirt for Pa to wear.

Team "Rob" beer pong.  We lost.

Ben's USA shirt was pretty good too.

The kids had fun with sparklers.
