This week Lukey had his last day of soccer. To make the last day special, parents were allowed to participate too. They even let Anna come in! She had a lot of fun and was good at following the other kids around and playing all the games.

Lukey was really good in soccer and liked it a lot. We'll be signing him up for future classes probably in the fall. The last day of class, he was just Lukey. The week before, he insisted that everyone call him "Sully" (from Monsters, Inc.). The coaches seemed to always be pretty amused by him. |

Lukey after he made a goal. |

Anna shooting a goal. She's pretty good at soccer. The last few weeks, while I watched Lukey, Tim would find open fields and play soccer with Anna. She is good at dribbling and shooting. She always wanted to go on the field where Lukey's class was playing and snuck on the field once or twice. She was happy to be allowed to play with them the last day. |

A proud boy. His Paris shirt still fit even though its a size 2. He looked like a professional soccer player wearing it. |

He liked us out there with him and told his coach, "Coach, my mommy is out here!!" Lukey was so happy to have his Da and sister playing with him too. Lukey and Anna have become best friends. They still fight like siblings do, but they play together all the time and Anna always asks about him when he's not around. Their favorite games to play are pretending they are characters in Tangled, Wall-E, Cinderella, Aladdin, Monsters, Inc. Prep and Landing, etc.. Lukey always starts the games by saying "Come on Everybody it's the Tangled (or whatever else the game is) Game!" Then Anna asks, What's Anna gonna be? and when she wants a more specific answer-What kind of? Then Lukey assigns us all a role. They can both keep entertained for hours doing this. |
