Christmas, snow and cousins

Lukey was pretty excited about their new gas station from Santa.

Anna had a tea party with her horses and Oliver.

Da spent Christmas morning putting together Anna's new dollhouse.  It looks pretty good!  Now she just needs some little dolls.  For now, her ponies are enjoying having a home.

The kids really liked Uncle Dennis's train.

Annual Christmas pictures.  They turned out pretty good this year.

Anna decided that she felt like feeding Kent her sherbet.

The kids and Uncle Ben liked laying on the couch watching Christmas movies.

Lukey got a train to go around the Christmas tree too!  They both love it!

It snowed the day after Christmas so we went sledding on the golf course hills by our house.  It was Anna's first time on the hills all by herself!  I didn't get any pictures of that, but they also had fun playing in the backyard in the snow.

These snow pants looked great on Lukey last year and look just as good on Anna!

Colossus XXL!!!!! Lukey has been looking forward to this for weeks.

Maeve, Lukey and Anna dancing while Tim played Christmas music on the piano.

Look at those moves!

Christmas Eve

Lukey was very helpful with making cookies for Christmas.  He rolled the dough and decorated the cookies.  He was good about decorating them and not eating too much.  Anna just wanted to make a mess and eat her cookies so she wasn't as helpful.

Every day Lukey looked forward to doing the Christmas calendar with Da.  It was a good way to practice counting too.  He was really excited to put Santa on the calendar!

Making fruit "grinches" with Grammy and Paige.

Anna liked riding the new rocking horses.

Soccer

Lukey has been having fun at soccer class for the last few weeks.  It's a lot different than how he was at gymnastics just less than a year ago.  He is good at listening and trying to follow directions.  Sometimes he doesn't really understand the games they play and goes on the wrong side of the field, kicks the ball in the wrong direction, runs around carrying the ball, etc., but who cares?  He's having fun and gets better every week.
Lukey also likes to run around saying, "I'm playing soccer!"

Jumping jacks.

Playing freeze tag.  He didn't really get how this game goes.  It was pretty funny watching him when it was his turn.  He didn't seem to care about catching anyone.  He just ran around really fast laughing and singing.  When the coach reminded him of how to play he did okay.
